In honor of my four gods

Now, I've stated before that I'm not a believer, and I am. Not, I mean.

Err...

Anyway....

So, why the three "gods", do you ask?

Well, it's pretty simple. My previous post was cause to some concern (admittedly, from my parents, but still) and people might wonder how I got through such a difficult time in my life *wink wink*.

Sleep, life, and other bitches.

There's a very serious truth to be found in the downsides of staying up late.

For one thing, you could get the symptoms (the ones I mentioned in the 'trains' rant).

There are others, of course. Like lack of concentration, hyperactivity, hypersensitivity, paranoia and the tendency to annoy cats.

Trains

Trains have something magical.

There's no denying that, contrary to, say, the car,

travel by train has something special, unique.

The rhythm of the tracks, the sound of the engines, the wheels turning.

Further thoughts on Time

I've already had the idea of seeing forward in time.

The first objection I got,

was that my idea/post presupposes the idea that someone who can see into the future,

can't turn it off.

But there was a second fallacy.

Someone who can comprehend the near infinite factors of a single thing, must also be able to comprehend them all.

Since the universe is expanding at the speed of light, and is therefore (almost) infinite (you can not travel faster than light, and you can never catch up with the "end" of the universe. So, it can be said it is infinite.

Nihilism according to Hemingway

Okay, I've been reading a bit of Hemingway now,

and I can positively say that I like it quite a bit.

But now, after reading an analysis by Annette Beneri (yeah, I never heard of her either) I have this to say about it.

Skype voice chat weirdness

"It's been a year. Let me send you a picture of my penis."

- It's a running gag. Either you were there or you weren't.

Games

I'm proud of myself.

I've managed to start a blog (with Nerdy Nonsense in the title ffs!)

without talking about games for a long while. 2 days.

We've arrived at a time in which men and women are equal. More or less.

I'm sure you know this feeling.

You're staying up late for some reason.

You've been studying/working past 8 'o clock. You've had dinner only after that.

You have more coffee in your system than Brazil, and now, it's 4 o'clock. AM.

You should go sleep. And then there's this one site, or one really cool person you start talking to.

And the coffee wears off.

Holy Crap

I would like turn your attention to the future.

Do you know what the future brings? Of course you don't. You can guess.

But imagine you could. What if you could see into the future?

Not just that. Imagine you could see (and comprehend) every little detail. Every unknowable factor that makes the Chaos Theory so much fun.

You still wouldn't be able to. The ability to see into the future is even hypothetically impossible.
